CPSG Excellence Awards Men 2021

Excellence in Social Work

Canadian Pakistani Support Group presents CPSG Excellence Awards Men 2021. In March 2021, CPSG established and pioneered CPSG Excellence Awards for Women to highlight the strong, resilient, and amazing women of the community. We awarded 9 girls and women CPSG Excellence Awards in 5 categories. The nominations submitted by public were reviewed by a dedicated jury who selected the final awardees. We now present CPSG Excellence Awards Men 2021 to celebrate the excellence in social and community work by men in the community. 

Nominations are open till July 30th, 2021. The details of awards categories are given below:

Nominations Criteria:  

Self-nominations are accepted.

An individual or an organization can nominate an individual.

Multiple nominations will be counted as a single nomination.

Nominated individuals must be residents of Calgary.

Incomplete forms will not be included for review in the final nomination list.

All nominations will be reviewed by Jury who will evaluate the nominee’s submissions.

All nominees will be reached by email to share their portfolios for final submission to the review committee.

CPSG Excellence Awards Categories:

1. Social Work Excellence Award

This award honors and acknowledges individuals with exceptional social and community work. Individuals with excellence in leading the community through their initiatives, social work, community engagement, advocacy, and positive impact will be awarded under this category. 

Eligibility: Age: 20+ Years

2. Best Community Volunteer (Age 29+)

Community organizations greatly rely on the strength of volunteers who contribute through their individual efforts to make events, campaigns, programs successful. This award honors and acknowledges a Volunteer who has an exceptional record in volunteer work and supporting the community organizations. 

Eligibility:

The nominee must have a record of volunteer work which may include volunteer hours, name of organizations, reference letters, photographs, or interviews.

Age: 29+ Years

3. Best Community Volunteer (Youth Age 15-29)

Community organizations greatly rely on the strength of volunteers who contribute through their individual efforts to make events, campaigns, programs successful. This award honors and acknowledges a Young Volunteer who has an exceptional record in volunteer work and supporting community organizations. 

Eligibility:

The nominee must have a record of volunteer work (e.g. volunteer hours, name of organizations, reference letters, photographs).

Age: 15-29 Years

4. CPSG Best Volunteer

This award honors the CPSG volunteer who has been actively supporting our drives, campaigns, programs, and events. CPSG takes pride in the strength and support of volunteers who have laid the foundation of our organization. 

Eligibility:

Must be CPSG Volunteer in the past 3 years.

Must be active youth volunteer of CPSG.

No age limits

5. CPSG Best Supporter

This award recognizes the efforts and support of community members who played a vital role in promoting the mission of CPSG and Maskan in the community.

Eligibility:

Nominations for this award will be accepted by CPSG members or volunteers or staff.

No age limit applies to this award category.
